Mineral/Bottled Water Plants
The Bottled water industry requires that the ozone residual be included with the water in the bottle. The ozone residual disinfects the inside of the bottle where the contact is made with the water.

For hotels and residential buildings, the water supply is not always from the municipal corporation. To disinfect the water supplied to them by the tankers or boring wells, ozone is the most suitable choice.

COD & BOD Reduction
The Chemical oxygen demand (COD) is a measure of wastewater and water quality that can be used as in indirect measurement of the amount of oxidizable compounds.Ozone is economically viable for final step of waste water treatment before releasing it back into the environment or reuse, otherwise economically viability depends on selection of technology and selection of technology depends on effluent conditions. COD is High in industry effluents such as breweries, diary, iron & steel & pulp & paper

The biodegradable Oxygen Demand (BOD) is further divided into readily biodegradable (soluble compounds such as volatile nutrients, fatty acids, sugar, selected alcohol and proteins) and slowly biodegradable compounds. Slowly biodegradable compounds are composed of particulate, colloidal and complex organic molecules. Water treatment with ozone is an effective method to reduce BOD and COD levels in industrial and municipal waste water. BOD and COD control with ozone can be used in water treatment systems The use of ozone is a very cost efficient and environmentally friendly option for BOD and COD control and reduction.
